Timing

I was a satellite just cruzin along.
But your heavenly body pulled so strong.
I used all my thrusters to try and get free.
But then I started wonderin why I want to be.

Free in space so empty and cold.
When I know there are arms willing to hold.
But the distances are so vast.
Even the speed of light doesn't seem fast.

So I sit here and wait type on this screen.
Play the bass humming along with the strings.   (Chours)
Impatiently waiting for the right moment.
When all this time you've known it!

I know this waiting will be
the hardest thing I've ever done.
Minuets to hours, days to years.
But it'll be worth it when your here!
